The hinge stop on the Gebo portlight in our heads seems to have failed i.e. the window will not stay open. There appears to be a hard rubber ( or similar) insert that slots into the hinge that does the job. Any ideas (a) where I can get the required spares and (b) how to dismantle the portlight. Haven't tried this yet but there is a pair of tapered pins passing through each hinge joint at the top. Do I simply knock them out?

Easily fixed, Sam.
If you open the portlight till you can see the inside of the hinge, you'll see the slot where the pins lurk. Slide them aside with something like a scriber or a punch, and the hinge should then dismantle. To replace the plastic thingies, you'll need to drill out the ali pop-rivet, and replace the rivet when you fit new plastic thingies. I don't know what the part-number is, but when I spoke to my man there he understood exactly what I mean by "little black thingies that hold the portlight open". Get hold of the agents near you (Webasto?) or get hold of Boomsma directly- they're very helpful to talk to.
