A big thank you to all who attended, and the PCC for putting on a great bash.
It was nice to put faces to some forum names, and you made our job a lot easier than it might have been, considering the number of boats we had to fit in in such a short time.
I would have liked to have spent more time socialising, but I had to be on duty early! Only a few of the Cardiff contingent missed the locks they had booked (I wonder why? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif ) but everyone got away to catch the tide they needed.
csail's little lad looks like he is going to be quite a party animal in a few years!

Yes, I would like to add my thanks to everyone involved. Shame the weather turned a bit sticky on the way back. We had to make a detour to Clevedon as the coastguard had received 999 calls saying there were some people in the water. Luckily by the time we arrived they had made it ashore.
Damo you did a sterling job on the lock when we left.
Thanks again,
Allan

A big thanks to PCC & Damo for an excellent weekend. Glad im off today.....feeling a bit rough! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
Edit-
Right feeling better now after 2ltrs of orange juice.
Reckon that is better than the Bristol festival now. Also got a tender, DSC radio & loads of rope all for under £30......billy bargain!
Glad the people in the water were ok, we were going to go and assist but we were an hour off and had a diesel leak so more concerned for our safety.
