Porthmadog to Barmouth

Hi all. I’m new to the forum. i have a 21ft speed boat Sea Ray 210 outboard. I’d like to sail to Barmouth from Porthmadog and back. one day this year!
anyone done that trip? Looking for tips on where to tie up at Barmouth and what to avoid / look out for on route. How long does it take at a leisurely 20 knots?
im ok at Porthmadog, I’m in the boat yard there.
any advice would be greatly received.

Easy done it a few times in yacht. South to the loneliest west cardinal, turn left to Barmouth, bit rough going in . Best place to tie up is against wall, phone harbour master, it drys out.. Best lobster you'll ever get in town or just have moules and frits lunch time at harbour. Bit rough going out but it is ok. Last year only £10 over night if you are from Porthmadog.
