POrtable Hand Held Sea Ranger 1200 VHF Battery

This old handheld VHF is also known as Stingray or Plastimar. I have searched a replacement battery without luck. I have opened up the battery pack and there are 6 Ni Cad batteries connected in series. Where can I get replacements ?
