Porta Loo quandry

Planning a trip to Holland next year but have read that black discharge is no longer acceptable in inland waters. What have others done? Is a small porta loo the answer and if so which one would anyone recommend? Does this ban also include urine discharge or just number two's?

You are correct in that black discharge is prohibited - not exactly sure about sink discharge but think it's OK. We use a Porta Potti which works well for us but you'll need to find a suitable place for it, particularly if you have guests on board, or just bottle it up until you get to the next marina/loo. Our Dutch friends will be on soon to give the definitive answer.
