The earlier post on what to write on the stern has raised another issue.
How come boats on the Guernsey register are allowed to put the island name on the stern in stead of a port name.
If you are registered in IOM for example you would have Douglas, Bermuda - hamilton etc. Gibraltar is Gibraltar but thats a port.
How come the CI are different?
