Poole - Mooring availability

I currently live in Kent and boat on Medway, but will have moved to Poole by next season. Can anyone tell me what the situation is down there with moorings, ie. are they readily available or are we talking waiting lists.The boats a 25 footer and can take soft mud if necessary.

If you look on www.phc.co.uk you'll find a bit about laying your own mooring. Depends wether you want a marina berth with all the mod cons or one out of the way. Another alternative is an EA mooring on the wareham river. You get a trot for about £300 a year

OK, to hell with it. Unbolt it and we'll use it as an anchor!
