Poole Harbour Berths all FULL!??

It was starting to get difficult last year, but I can confirm that there are now no marina berths available at the Holes Bay Marina's.
And I am told that this is the situation in the rest of Poole Harbour.
Also the Slipway at Cobbs Quay is not going to be available to non berth holders with annual slipway passes not being available either.
For many with larger boats, that slipway is the only viable one to use in the area.

Is this situation echoed elsewhere?

I feel very pleased that I have just paid my Berth fee, Swing mooring fee and my Park and Launch fee. These are all Suffolk and Norfolk so probably not so difficult in my area

Yes they are one of the Holes Bay Marinas.
I am sorted for myself, was just letting others know of the apparent situation.

I think it’s the same all south coast , so prices will go up . The question is where have all the extra boats come from.

Last year i got a short term berth for my Rib for May and June at Northney. When i called to ask for same again this year the guy, in a nice way, laughed. They do not even have any passes to use the slipway nor any room in the dry park! Same at sparkles. After frantic calling around I found a spot at Southsea marina. Golf and boating seem to be the two big Covid winners!

I am not buying that they don’t build quick enough , maybe peeps coming from med 19 , or peeps are taking old boat from inland to the coast God help them.

Parkstone bay marina also full last year and this year. The only reason we got a spot was we bought our boat from the brokerage there.

The chat on the pontoons in Lymington is indicating that everyone is booking berths a long way ahead for potential trips this season.
