Looked through the new fence at P B park yesterday and guess wot, full of Sunseekers, big security etc, Bet they never build the bridge and S S s will take over and have the complete run. Shame we all got chased out for that !!!!

Yeh, I saw that, what a stitch up, probably a ploy by SS to get their hands on the prime site. The bridge will never be built, not in my lifetime anyway. PBC/SS conspiracy! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Still, I'm very happy at Cobbs.

You actually see it all over the country. A landlord clears a site for development but then there is a delay. The easiest way to get money is a short term let for staorage be it for cars, vans, caravans or boats.

I would like to think that it is not a conspiracy and that the Landlord has realised the compulsory purchase may not happen and so is trying to make a few quid.

Of course if Sunnyseeker had waved a wodge of poundnotes in his face then it is supply and demand!!!

Big boat winns every time!

Cheers

Yes, tough on the Pittock family especially Ollie who in his early 20s had his career and livelyhood taken away by the so called Poole Council Regeneration Dept.

We didn't just lose a boat park but also a community of boaters.

With the major employer in the town Barclays also closing down, and half the shops in the high street boarded up or closing down, and hundreds of empty and unsold "luxury apartments" it's not looking great for jolly old Poole.
