I was in Bournemouth yesterday and looking out to sea I saw what looked like a reef! There ceratinly isn't a reef there so is there a new wreck? Does anyone know?

I thought the new reef was going to be near Boscombe Pier.

The reef looks to be about 3/4 mile south west from Boscombe pier. It is currently about 1 metre above sea level and looks to be about 20 metres long.

well it will start about 1m below the surface at high water and, after about 1 year, is expected to have gained another 3m from accumulated wreckage from those who don't read NOTAMs and update their electronic charts!
