I have a pontoon mooring . There is no electric.
Its covered with slippery algae and mildew.
What chemical might be suitable for cleaning ?
Patio magic?

I've just discovered oxalic acid powder (cheap as chips on ebay) Mix with hot water as per instructions on bottle; fast and effective.

Keep away from plated metal. Will 'grey' A2 stainless. Does not touch A4 and removes verdigris & patina from bronze. Excellent for rust stains and slime.

Basically strong 'patio magic'

P.S. dangerous when released into the environment, so undoubtedly effective...

Why is it dangerous when released into the environment? It is a natural constituent of (for example) rhubarb leaves, which happily rot down into the soil if used as green mulch. Rhubarb leaves contain enough to be poisonous, so it isn't trace amounts we're talking about. And I've washed it off onto my lawn several times without any effect at all.

Yes, Oxalic acid is poisonous and dangerous to people, but as far as I know it it does no harm to the environment.
