Pontoon berth Southampton

My previous moorings have been in Gosport. I'm trying to avoid the pain of the A32 and I am looking for a berth for a 10 metre boat somewhere close to the end of the M3. I don't expect to get anything "reasonably" priced but I am trying to avoid the high prices of places like MDL and Premier.
Any suggestions?

Try Wicormarine. I have mine on a mid channel pontoon and accesss from the M3 is easy, During the summer there is boatman who will take you out Friday evenings and all weekend other than that you do need a tender. From the pontoons to portsmouth Harbour entrance it's 35 mins but I would rather do that than sit in traffic through gosport and at least you can have a beer

Give them a call they will probably have a birth for the 08 season and the cost is reasonable

Kemps Quay Marina (look at their website for prices) is another possibility - 200 berths, cost much less than MDL but only 50 full-tide berths, the rest involve mud in some form or another .

I'll second Kemps. Reasonable prices, nice people and good enough facilities. Not as upmarket as MDL but I like the atmosphere there.
