Thanks Vic. Not likely to be there this year, more likely next year. I've added a mark and notes to my OpenCPN charts & cockpit plotter.

it would have been a nice spot when the Meltemi blowing ,
we ended up anchoring in what looks like a very open spot on the south side of Kimolos by a long beach but it's also has good protection from northerly winds
Totally Open to the south and a bit of wash from the ferrys passing .

Bit of confusion about the name in Heikell 12th edition. On one page it is Pollonia, on the opposite page Apollonia. Easy when you see them but not in a list of places.

Co,skipper was keen in seeing Milos but with a NW this morning turning SW this afternoon anchoring in the bay may be a bit choppy although forecaster to die late to night .
so maybe we had for Folegandros and find a better anchorage .
At some point we need to find somewhere to do a decent shop .

Another anchorage people might like to miss .on Nisis Thirasia , Rod suggest anchoring off the small hamlet , well you could If you have another chain to anchor in 40 plus mts ,
There are some mooring bouy for the day charter boat that come from Thira and your warned no to use them . Good be a nice spot when there SW winds , ended up on Nea Palaia stern too onto a.small bay
