A rant here ... about mag.subscriptions. IPC are soooooooooooo helpful & polite ... polite to the point that I have been embarrassed to "complain" ... but after 4 emails between us;

End Oct. 2006 paid for 2 years PBO & MBM and informed would start in Jan. 2007.
Todate
MBM: Jan, Feb, Mar - rec'd 2 copies in 10 days, missing Apr. & May.
PBO: Jan, Feb, Mar, May, missing Apr.
Delivery dates varied by a week or more.

Subscriptions now cancelled ... I had too ... I was missing my fix on the 10th of each month and my lady was threatening to strike having to continually check the postbox every morning.

Anyway I can get them at a local newsagent (+25%)

Do others have similar problems getting their monthly fix ?

My daughter tried to arrange for a PBO subscription the other Christmas as a present to me.

She gave up after two months, never again.

Embarrassment when a subscription which was a one off present automatically renewed. It seems that subscriptions are "recurring". Now canceled entirely.

I've had a subscription, as a present, for Yachting Monthly last year and had no problems. It was renewed again this year and so far has turned up on time every month.
