I've bought all the products - and have attempted to polish out a scratch on my hull. I used wet and dry 600 - 1000 - 1400 and then cutting compound, followed by polish and wax and the end result looks fine great in fact EXCEPT from one angle where the surface looks dull. What have I done wrong? Last year I paid someone to do this and he pretty much did the same thing and the end result was perfect!! I thought I could replicate his magic. It's not the end of the world and as I say, from most angles you'd not see it, in fact you'd probably see your own reflection in it! But as I've said from one point of view the finish is dulled.
Any thoughts - do I need to start again?
