polishing paint???

i need to buff up a painted hull,any suggestions asto the compound recquired?

McGuires they make polishes, cleaner/polishes, available @ most swindleries

[Bejasus]

A light buffing with Fareclas Extra Fine rubbing compound, then polish with 'International Polish with Teflon' and the seal with 'International Sealer with Teflon'. Works fpr me on my painted hull. Just be careful with the application of the Farclas and don't overdo it. Alternatively, if the hull isn't too bad, use Starbrite hull cleaner before polishing.
