Polishing Head supplier

Last year we bought one of those variable speed polishing machines off e-bay. It was the dog's doo dahs as extolled by various forumites. Has anyone any idea where I go to get new foam heads? From memory, the foam heads come in different colours for different hardnesses of foam. I can't remember which is the best one for boat GRP polishing as I ended up using them all.

I also bought a polishing machine off Ebay.. For the price they are excellent.. I bought replacement polishing pads off ebay as well for about £4 each.

I dont know if they are the best quality but one pad polished my 28ft boat then I threw it away as it was worn out.

I also bought Ferecla Glass Fibre polishing compound off ebay which was a lot cheaper than the stuff you buy in chandlers and worked very well

Screwfix do 3 or 4 different grades of foam polishing heads at about £4 - £5 each.

Go to www.screwfix.com and search for "foam pads"

Thanks everyone I've just bought 5 from toolstation.

£4.10 cheaper than Screwfix for the order and delivery is Monday!

These tend to be useless after a few uses, and washing/cleaning them is nigh impossible................

Much better to utilise a velcro backing pad and velcro pads.
