polishing and waxing (The best product)

Another vote for Starbite Teflon. Very good results once you've got the area prepped with G3 or similar.

Poll is going to be useless as we can vote for all of them because there are four separate polls with just one "candidate in each"

Scrap it and make one poll with ALL the available repolishing products included and just one vote allowed and a second pol with all the waxes included and one vote allowed

Anyway for repolishing a faded and chalked surface : Farécla

Starbrite Teflon last year and went over it with Starbrite Polymer. Seemed to last all season. (Instructions on Polymer rather odd; "guaranteed 2 yrs, apply every 6 months").

Meguiars. Use 2 coats of #45 Boat/RV Polish followed by 2 coats of #56 Pure Wax. Very easy to apply and polish off by hand.

None of these. Autoglym from Halfords. last for ages. Use the extra Gloss Protection after Resin Polish for longer term shine.

I polished 3 separate areas on the boat with Starbrite Teflon, Autoglym and Mer. There really wasn't anything to choose between them in terms of shine or longevity, but I somehow prefer the Autoglym. I have some of the extra gloss protection but haven't tried it yet, hope to give it a go this season.

As I can pick up a 1L bottle of Aotoglym or Mer for a tenner from local markets, the economics are more favourable for them than for the Starbrite.

It doesn’t matter what I use, after a couple of weeks I still get all the black lines running down from the alloy extrusion holding the rubbing strip.
