Close to completing on targa 30 with Kad 32's.

The broker is 'helping' with some costs and I wanted to double check they sound reasonable:

Cut, polish and anti foul - £500
engine service incl. all replacement items £800 for both

Also, the drive bellows are being done by owner and I need to clarify if anodes will be done at same time. Can someone advise good source for anodes please?

Thank you

Sounds about right for dealer arranged work. Anti foul you can normally work on £10 a foot of boat length, and £200 for cut and polish of a 30 footer also sounds OK.

Engine service sounds a bit on the high side, but not substantially so.

You can of course arrange these things cheaper yourself, but i don't think you're being ripped off.

Engine only service sounds a bit steep or does that include outdrives as well, if not then 500 max for engines sounds about right as its not really a full days job to change all filters and engine oil, adjust belts etc, change impellers.

Anodes. The cheapest I have found for them is Itchen marine. The yard you can buy fuel from up there. Very very cheap. The place is a little tatty but don't let that put you off you won't be disappointed!

Yes, they will be done. The bellows will be done by same engineeers at the same time. I am to pay for engine service and owner paying for leg's. These were only serviced back in May. Bellows weren't changed though.

Thanks to all for comments - I'll get some prices from Poole based engineers to ensure I'm not getting ripped off!

There is though, some value to me in having all work done before I collect the boat.
