Hat do you think of this?

On life’s vast ocean diversely we sail,
Reason the card, but passion is the gale;
Nor God alone in the still calm we find,
He mounts the storm, and walks upon the wind.

On life’s vast ocean diversely we sail,
yes! another crap poem by jimi - on ale?
He's a passionate salior and would love to write
but his verse (like his boat) is full of old shite.

Blimey - I thought it was yer own work.. if I'd have known well ... anyhow about the paintin thing, 'ow 'bout if we cut one of yer ears off.....

The wee laddie Jimi can noo make a rhyme,
Hes nae kind'a poet ah say
He's heads up his a****hole for much o'th time,
An he's still talkin rubbish t'day.

If ye'r wantin a poem then come tae the bard,
Not a wee daftie toss pot like heim
Fer he cana be nice tho it's terribly hard
An hel soon get a stuffing from Kim....

Anyone who rhymes 'find' with 'wind' should be cannonised.
Repeatedly.

Much better:
It is a beauteous evening calm and free
The holy time is quiet as a nun,
Breathless with adoration; the broad sun
Is sinking down in its tranquility;
The gentleness of heaven is on the sea:
Listen! The mighty Being is awake,
And doth with his eternal motion make
A sound like thunder - everlastingly!

WW1

Dear Child! dear Girl! that walkest with me here,
If thou appear untouched by solemn thought,
Thy nature is not therefore less divine:
Thou liest in Abraham's bosom all the year;
And worship'st at the Temple's inner shrine,
God being with thee when we know it not.

Re: WW1

This Sea that bares her bosom to the moon;
The Winds that will be howling at all hours
And are up-gathered now like sleeping flowers;
For this, for every thing, we are out of tune;
It moves us not—Great God! I’d rather be
A Pagan suckled in a creed outworn;
So might I, standing on this pleasant lea,
Have glimpses that would make me less forlorn;
Have sight of something in a double D;
