Claim to have a 32 moored on L pontoon... recently arrived... told me to tell you to stop in and say hello... Looked shifty to me though...

I'll have you know Vancouver owners are the gentry of the seas and could never be regarded as shifty. They were probably just being sympathetic and wondering what a nice Vancouver was doing in a place like this amongst all those AWBs.

Well they claimed to have just got in from 7 years in the Caribbean....

Yes the weather has been pretty poor of late. We are seriously thinking of moving up to Troon. What with the Euro, the cost of overnighting and the lack of anchoring space down south as much as we like it we think we may as well take our chances with the weather in Scotland and enjoy a superior cruising area.
