Plymouth to the Clyde, Crew needed 18 Oct

I am planing to move my Sigma 36 from Plymouth to Troon, leaving on the 18th October. Presently 3 strong but would appreciate one or two more crew to ease the watch system a little, aiming for a non stop trip up once round the corner, I would like to have the boat on the Clyde by end of the week weather permitting.

Would prefer someone with at least a little experience or who can hold a reasonable course day or night, maybe an ideal trip for someone wanting to build some miles and night hours. Probably not the best time of year for a first sailing trip.

All reasonable travel expense to Plymouth and back from Troon covered, plus food and board, oillies etc available as long as you are not a strange shape/size!

Great trip in a Sigma...F8 into wind and tide...You had better build a little 'bad weather time' into your plans unless you want to delaminate her.

I sailed a Dufor 35 that had been driven north on a delivery Portsmoth to Rhu, split the liner full width at the base of the forward bunk.

I would love to go but I'm takin the missus to Florida for 2 weeks on 19th Oct.
The Sigma 36 is a great sea-boat not a "slapper"
You should do it in a week even with 2 days bad weather. You need a 24 to 30hr weather window from The longships to The Tuskar and you can always run to Lundy Roads or Milford Haven if it gets too nasty.
If you can get the internet on your phone, when in range, I find met.ie very good and I use it a lot especially the 3 hr forecast.
