So... ANYONE gonna be around for the Fireworks on Tuesday Nite??

Weather is looking good!

In particular anyone around PYH???

I'm thinking.... few drinks... early dinner.....

Providing it's not persisting down we are intending to get there on the Tuesday evening, always up for a drink
Not sure whether to take boat out or not, what's your thought on that?
Don't know whether there are any exclusion zones etc.

I was in PYH a few years ago and knew nothing about the Fireworks competition until I notice loads of people congregating near the pub adjacent the breakwater. So I wandered along to see what was occurring. What a fantastic evening, god knows how much money went up in smoke but it is an event not to miss. Sorry I won't be there this year, hopefully next.

Well.... my thinking is I would like to have a couple of drinks... so would rather not the hassle and stress of taking MY boat out... versus being quite happy to go along on someone elses... preferably large and comfortable gin palace style thingy......

Failing that, we do get quite a good view right here on the ponttoon.... so a couple of drinks with peeps... a bit of ooohhingg and aaaaahiiingg.....

Of course another option might be to try to get table on the upstairs balcony at the bridge.....

ye Bridge sounds OK, provided that you don't get so overcome by excitement at the fireworks that you have to use the adjacent facilities....

We sailed through the Eastern entrance about 100yds behind you yesterday afternoon but then you headed up toward the Bridge - did you forget where your marina is!

I was waving at you... I had Kioni and the gang on board... and seeing as you were being so rude by not waving back at us.... we decided to leave you in our wake at high speed!

We went up through the bridge and then up past the grey funnel line ships... opened a very nice bottle of Sancere and a ginger cake and cruised pleasently home.
