someone mentioned thus yard to me as a possible over winter for my boat but I have forgotten the name of it. anyone know?

for that m,atter any recommendations for out of the water boat storage in plymouth area - 35 ft deep fin.

Was it Southdown? Not part of Trago though. The only other one that springs to mind is Voyager boatyard which is next door to Southdown - again not Trago related

Huggins Bro's now own Southdown marina, having bought the freehold.

if this helps:

- afaik multihull centre is cheapest

- Voyager is a bit cheaper than Southdown, both for storage and for lift out; Southdown has better toilet/shower facilities but these might not be of interest during winter storage; Voyager is better organised for things like electricity hookup, waste oil disposal, etc

- Huggins also do storage at Carbeile, or at least used to

- Lynher Boatyard (at Polbathic) might be even cheaper - probably only reachable at high springs

- Boating World at Landrake, also hard to reach, might also be an option

Does your question about winter storage in April imply that you know something about the summer that many of us only suspect???

They still do, I launched from there yesterday, will be there next winter. Carbeile is at Torpoint.
