It is blowing a hooligan now, but nothing like the stuff we had in 1989: I think it was sustained 100mph plus at one point. Two buses stopped for the drivers to have a chat, I was trying to convey to them the idea to move on as the tin barn next door was blowing across the road in big square sheets.

Big blasts now here in SE Cornwall, my mobile home is really bouncing, and thats sheltered . I expect some damage in the morning, but have noy heard any boats go over yet.
