We have spent the last month in the area and now left the boat in the area.
I have new crew but for technical reasons they can only meet me in Guernsey.
Currently I am thinking of sailing the boat on this leg on my own. I know it's only a day sail but you never know someone might want to do the tripand you meet all sorts of interesting people.
But someone to help with the lock on the exit from the Rance would be handy.
We are familiar with the area and I've done the shuttle between the French Coast and St P.P. three times this year so far.
Anybody out there fancy, or available, need a 'lift' to Guernsey, sometime later next week?
I can stump up for the Condor [ferry] from Guernsey to St Malo, or the equivalent towards the ferry for the Condor to UK port. Circa £50. Not a crew engagement or anything like that, obviously need valid papers [ passport] for the destination, etc.
Oh the boat is a mature, well found, comfortable Westerly, the captain is equally mature and held to be tolerable on a good day. The bar is generally well stocked and the cook is deemed to be competent.
