Buying our first boat we hoped would be one of the most exciting things we had ever done but it has been turned into a time of unparelled stress, worry and sleepless nights by a Broker who :-
1, Basically couldn't give a s--t once the deposit cheque cleared.
2, offered no help or assistance on essential equipment required, tuition, basic help on boat systems, the list goes on and on,
3, Never 'phoned us with purchase negotiation progress report, we had to do all the chasing.
4, continually broke promises about final negotiations, delivery dates and possible moorings.
5, presented an Invoice on final delivery for works carried out predelivery which is indecipherable and from the bits we can read would give Grimms fairy stories a run for their money.
We may be doing Brokers in general a disservice but based on our experience they have replaced Double Glazing and Fitted Kitchen Salesmen at the top of our hate list.
Its got to get better , hasn't it ?
