We got a very small puncture in our Plastimo tender. I had never had to use the repair kit before today. I cut the patch to the required size and according to the instruction sheet I was supposed to apply three coats of thin glue to both the patch and tender.
When I opened the glue tube I found it was about 75% air and the small amount of glue which was present was like cahoutchy. To spread it thinly would have been impossible.
I ended up squeezing as much as possible to both surfaces and stuck them as well as I could - weighing it down as directed.
The patch took, and the repair seems fine, but the glue tube is empty after one use.
Not really very good in my humble opinion. Had the cut been of any size at all I would have been snookered.
