I can't find, in mm, the dimensions of the Plastimo Pacific 2000 but I think the new(er) Plastimo Pacific 4500 might be a direct drop in replacement of it. Anyone know definitely?

What other alternatives are there for a space which currently takes a Pacific 2000? It's quite a small unit. No grill and smaller even than the Plastimo 3000 which also has no grill.

Just installed a Pacific 2500 (without grill) which is the current version of yours - dimensions are unchanged. Little else will fit the space except the Techimpex - but would not recommend that as that is what I replaced.

There are other cookers that are the same width with gimbals such as the Nelson Spinflo, but they are all taller if they have a grill, even if the grill is in the top of the oven as is common on some European and US cookers. Many others are wider, including the Plastimo 3000 series, but some then offer 3 burner hobs.

Calor Gas in Southampton offer probably the widest range of cookers and all the dimensions are on their website.

BTW very pleased with the Pacific so far.

You may have a bit of difficulty. The 4500 replaces the 2500 - same carcass but new handles and controls, but not sure they do it in the non-oven style. Some chandlers are still listing the older style like mine, but the Plastimo on line catalogue only shows the old range. Given their well known problems you might need to do a bit of hunting to find who has stock of what.

Ah, just saw this. I don't know about their well known problems.
