Plastimo Mini Contest Navman lighting problem

We have a brand new plastimo bulkhead compass fitted to our boat but when I was testing the lighting at night it altough the light works it does not illiumnate the numbers on the front of the compass card.Before I take this unit out, is it a sealed unit ? Where is the light located ? Can it be adjusted ? Any Ideas welcome

G'day Badger,

Had the same problem with a Plastimo some years ago, it's not sealed, the globe is tiny and I think mine shifted when twisting the cables to avoid setting up a magnetic field, it may take a couple of goes to get it right.
