I have a Plastimo LP Gas Alarm on my boat, see below:
I recently re-routed the cable to the sensor, and was horrified to discover that it was badly corroded:
This sensor is mounted in the bilge, and of course is going to get wet. This seems crazy to me, especially as it would be hard for LP gas to actually get in there!
I have three questions:
[1] Does anyone have the instructions for the Plastimo LP Gas Alarm that they could send me a copy of?
[2] Can anyone tell me the pin-out to the coloured wires connected to the sensor terminals? Two of my wires have corroded away, and I don't know where they should go on a new sensor.
[3] Is there a better place to mount the sensor?
