Plastimo life raft valise how to launch

Ive got a plastimo valise liferaft and need an idea of how to launch do I take it out of the case and tie it on then it inflates
or do I tie it on the put the whole bag in the water
anybody know ?

Tie the painter to summat solid, and hoof the whole thing overboard. There was a very good thread here recently-ish about a sea survival course that you could do worse than looking up and reading...

Tie on the painter and chuck it in. If it doesn't inflate give the painter a tug.

I recommand you take a RYA sea survival course. It only one day but its sure is an eye opener.

As the other say make sure it is secured first then pitch it in the 'ogin.

If it does not inflate then keep tugging the painter until it does. Getting into it is the difficult bit - esp after 2/3 failed attempts....
