PLASTIMO INFLATABLE TENDER REPAIR

I have an inflatable tender with a tear in it. The tear, about 5mm in length, is located about 10mm for rubber fendering. I think if I put a pacth on I will not have enough contact area between the tear and the fendering. Any suggestions.

MIght sound obvious, but why not prise off the fender strip, apply the patch, and re-apply the fender strip over both patch and tube?

Excellent suggestion and the method used by professional repair shops, use a heat gun carefully /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
