I am plumbing my (flexible) fresh water tanks and need hose fittings in the range 1/2" to 1 1/2" in tees and reducers.

Only source I have found so far is a pond equipment stockist but the range is limited.

Can ayone help pleas?

In desperation I end up using normal copper - "end feed" or "yorkshire" - fittings and warming the plastic pipe to stretch it over the copper, retaining it with jubilee clips or similar. That works for 22 to 28mm pipes. for 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" rigid plastic pipes you can use normal plastic waste components with either compression or solvent weld connectors.

BUT larger size connectors for flexible hose are like hen's teeth and you may have to be inventive to adapt normal plumbing fitting to suit.

I am assuming that you are looking for screwed plastic fittings and hosetails.

I am in another country but this applies to most places - good quality screwed plastic fittings of all types are available from every plumbers' supply wholesaler no problems at all in the larger sizes (certainly from around 3/4 inch up) in both plain and fibre reinforced plastics. They are also stocked by all chandlers here.

In the smaller sizes quality plastic fittings are hard to find (maybe impossible), probably because of strength issues. Instead I use stainless steel fittings which are easy to obtain from any place specialising in manufacturing hoses for the transport and other industries (often referred to as Hose Doctors here, and I understand often called same in UK). In my own country 316 ss fittings in the smaller sizes are surprisingly inexpensive (but not so in the larger) and are available in the full range of sockets, tees, reducers, hosetails, etc.

I am also in not in the UK but we can get smaller sizes from garden centers for use in irrigration systems

"Gardena" ,which I think is available in the UKalso do some for water hoses fittings
