Since four years we own a Alferd Mylne sailing yacht designed byCraig Wood and build at the Bute Slip Dock in 1954. Yacht name " STARMINX
The First owner's name is R.E.Hopkins from Husborne Crawley Bedford.
Starminx has won several races in the Solent and an article was written about her in the Yachting Monthly in 1955
Can anyone help me find this honourable person since I would like to inform him how healthy Starminx is today and would, possibly through this person, very much appreciate getting my hands on the original plans.

I have been in touch with the boat yard who can only help at outrageous prices.

I do not understand how am Alfred Mylne yacht can be designed by another person. Unless he was an employee of the company.
For information on Alfred Mylne designed craft contact Ian Nicolson at Cove Dumbartonshire. He was certainly able to offer me drawings of my 1898 Alfred Mylne designed one rater.( the price was high) PM me if you require a phone number.

Thanks for your reply re plans for STARMINX.
I know Ian Nicolson, he has got the drawings but at ridiculous prices (90 Pound per drawing). Therefore I try to get in touch with the original owner who's name I have from the R.O.R.C. Rating certificate.
Is it possible for you to help me any further forwards.
