Hi all, I'm planning to buy this boat (pictures below); it isn't advertised just yet, however it was due to go up via a broker this week before I expressed an interest.

Apparently, the broker had valued it at £20,000-£21,000, which I find unlikely personally?

After a bit of back and forth with the current owner, the price is firmly set at £16,500, including original SBS twin axle trailer.

The boat is a 2008 Fletcher 19GTSC fitted with its original MPI 4.3L Mercruiser with <100 hrs from new.

This makes the boat one of the most expense Sportcruiser 19GTS's on the market presently, however I do believe it to be one of, if not the best I have seen.

Before I fully commit, I would really appreciate a sanity check on the pricing and thoughts around resale should I need to sell in the next few years.

Any thoughts / stories of experience with these boats would also be really interesting!

I plan to use it for weekends away camping / overnighting around loch lomand and general boating / water-sports around Torbay. - maybe one day a trip across the channel if conditions allowed.

Thanks in advance

I had one of those boats but with the smaller 3 ltr inboard. They are lovely boats. You have got one with the best engine there. I sold mine 2 years ago for £13,000 with the trailer. I think for the boat you show that is a price that is acceptable but perhaps a little on the high side

Outstanding boats. I have the GTO. Few wee fletcher typical niggles around them, but the hull and its ability, is in a league of its own, for the size of boat.
As for the price, it’s not unreasonable at that, given the age and in as good condition as she looks. But the far and away advantage this one has…is having the almost impossible to find, 4.3 mpi option. Should never be compared in price to the other versions with 3.0 or even the 4.3 carb options.
It’s also a very late and last of them made version too. Have a look and see if you can find a similar aged 19/20ft cuddy, of lesser quality hull and ability…from your usual generic American brands, for much cheaper…if at all. Might be a couple perhaps. But will you find anything that age with an mpi engine to compare ? Almost certainly not.
I could go on about the performance these mpi versions boast…but I’ve bored you enough by now perhaps…so won’t! Ok…they are ridiculously quick and certainly will see an easy and genuine 50 mph and more, when propped correctly. Not many boats can genuinely claim that kind of pace.

Agree with above - price IS high, but as said it's a very desirable engine in that boat - would fly and be economical as well.

With a trailer (they seem about £5k nowadays) that's probably not too bad a deal.

If you wanted a Diesel - there is this that was up at £20k but is now down to £16k (no trailer tho).

Toppy price but great engine and looks in excellent condition.

I had the GTO version and as Qbouy stated, it punches above its weight.
The high freeboard makes for a dry ride

Wish I still had mine....

Buy it.
