plane down off aberdovey

Was anybody sailing off Aberdovey yesterday? We were listening to ch 16. It appeared that a fighter plane had ditched in the sea. Two crew ejected. One parachute opened one didnt. We heard Milford Haven CG speaking to Aberdovey lifeboat and others. Anybody heard anything else?

Only one crew on board, safely ejected and picked up after 30 mins in the water, taken to hospital with minor hypothermia (which has got to be an oxymoron).

Apparenly he was in a Hawker Hunter jet returning from an airshow in Ireland.

Yep it was a Hawker Hunter based in Exeter according to local news. Pilot safe and well but probably a bit pissed off.
