plain English BSS?

can I get a plain English explanation of the BSS requirements for my 11 year old motor cruiser...

I have retrofitted holding tanks etc but don't know if I am missing other 'requirements' for the BSS...

Why dont you get it inspected and then they will tell you what you need to do to get a pass,have just had mine done it was £50 for the first visit then £10 for the re test.

I,ve just had mine done for the second time and it cost me 90 quid! (the first cost about the same I recall) Isn,t there a standard cost? Does the size of the boat matter?
