I was reading this WSJ and wondering what people thought about it. Seems like they are going to have to do something to deter attacks, otherwise they will just keep on coming. That recent article in MBY was startling.

perhaps I'm being a bit simplistic here but ...

they know the pirates operate from 'mother' ships
they know the location of the 'mother' ships

they can't operate from 'mother' ships if they're sitting on the bottom of the sea with a torpedo hole in the side

U.S.Navy releases Somali Pirate

The US Navy today announced that it has released a Somali Pirate after questioning him extensively for 27 days while being held prisoner aboard a US aircraft carrier in the Arabian Sea ..

In a humanitarian gesture, the Pirate was given $50 US and a white 1962 Ford Fairlane automobile upon being released from custody..

The attached photo shows the terrorist on his way home just after being released by the Navy.
