Peg,
My boat's holding tank has a 5/8" vent and it has to go a long way before it exits at the hull. After reading your book and your advice on other sites I decided to install a larger vent (1" or 1 1/2") and try to route it in a better fashion. Do you know what kind of fittings can I install on the tank without cutting an access port? I seem to recall that you pointed out in another forum, a while back, some fittings from a company down under (Australia or New Zealand) that would serve my purpose.
Also, is it acceptable to use rigid PVC for a portion of the vent line?
Thanks,
Raul
