The French stuff never reached us, so its either still in the Channel!!! but a Russian freighter came ashore last night, driven in by some enormous waves, crew all rescued safely she is(was) carring a deck cargo of pine planks of various lengths and they are now all over the beaches of Seaton and Downderry (Cornwall) along with a very unhealthy helping of heavy oil
End of news

Is pine any good for decking, I fancy a deck in the garden. I don't fancy the treck down there in this weather though.

Well I could do with as many planks as you can get, will pick them up on Thursday. Would have come down today if it wasn't for feeling somewhat under the weather!

AND! how will you use the wood Andy? You are overseen by a Coastguard (Receiver of Wrecks) who would instantly grass you up ;-)

I'd take your blue flag down then you wouldn't have to tell anyone.
