There's a box on Clearing Bearings in the July issue's article. It includes arrows to show which way to steer if your bearing is more or less than the required value.
North of East Pow buoy, all seems correct (that's the hard part as it's using a back bearing) but the arrows seem to be back to front on the bearing south of East Pow. If you are west of the bearing line, the bearing will be bigger, shown by + on the chart, but you'd need to turn to starboard to correct it, not to port as the sketch shows. I'm assuming the arrows show which way to turn a steering wheel.
Have I missed something?
