Does anyone know of a source for Med. Pilot books on DVD or Download, I now have a collection of Rod Heikell's pilot books on board but would like to save space.

As rare as hens' teeth I suspect. I've got the Canary Islands part of Atlantic Islands as a PDF, but that's because I was a proof-reader for it, and I would never give away a copy anyway.

Many thanks. I researched the Google copyright issue and whilst it doesn't explicitly say you can give away a document containing Google Earth images it doesn't say you can't. In any case the Americans believe very firmly in the principle of "fair use" and I think my pilot falls within that definition. How long it took is difficult to say because it's grown over the years. It started out as a set of cruising notes when we sailed around Crete in 2007, people then started to tell me about other places and so I started to visit all these other places, mostly in the boat but some by car (the south coast is not a place to be in a boat in bad weather!) so that now it includes all ports usable by a yacht and just about every reasonable anchorage. The first version probably took a month to put together (part time of course) and adding and updating based on info from friends takes only half an hour or so.
Please give it away to anyone who would like it.

I doubt it. I've now bought the boat from Nik and Jules, and I like the Canary Islands.
