If anyone is planing to fill with water in Pilos I would suggest you first ask the price , unless the Russian boat behind us is mistaken , they where charge 20 Euros to fill a Ben 40 , I cant Imagine their tanks hold more then 400 lts .
By the way you can get free water off the quay in Kiparissia .

And in Finikounda?

Yes. Go end on, own anchor, outside the quay that runs south from the beach.

It's best to go bows to, since there are lumps of rock along the base of the quay. There are several gaps between the lumps where you can close right up with the quay. If you're nervous about feeling your way in, anchor off first and go ashore to find the sweet spots.

Stern to is possible, but then best to stand off and use the dinghy as a bridge ashore.

Free electricity for the last few years. Rummage under the base of the lamp where the water supply is, and you'll find a standard supply socket hidden there. Don't ask about its polarity! And, no, no earth trips.

WiFi from Gardenia cafe at the base of the quay. Also served 400cl of draft beer at €2.50 for the last few years. Fine restaurant overlooks the harbour from the west - Eleni's. €30 for two for an evening. Used by Athens smart set over weekends. Fish soup to die for. A small grill in the back street (To Steki) is great value for money, typically €20 for two for the evening.
