Pilar Rossi started as a 112ft alloy motor yacht in 1989. It has been extended to 211ft and had two massive outriggers taking her beam to 46ft and two masts of 148ft and 138ft added to make her a schooner trimaran. The motor yacht was built for Formula I racing driver Nelson Piquest and his uncle did the design work for the alterations. It is still owned by Nelson Piquet. Accordint to Boat International she is the 12th largest sailing super yacht in the world. The links provide more information and photos of this strange creation.
