Sorry no great action shots, just missed catching a couple of seals dive into the water over at Rothesay, comments on the pictures are welcome, still getting to grips with picture posting

Yes, why go to the meddy!! West coast is beautiful, always, even when like most of the time it's pissing with rain.
But I still rather like the warmth all the time and the considerably cheaper cost of living, thanks.

Why indeed? As my friend used to say "You can keep abroad." Oh, I forgot, he ended up spending his time in Florida.

The Clyde has crystal clear blue waters then?
Wall-to-wall sunshine most of the time?
Warm waters to swim in, even in November?
Snow capped mountains as a backdrop?
Loads of restaurants?

No, but it has a paddle steamer.

You've convinced me.

Seriously though, nice piccies.

I did say on days like this, althought on tuesday it did feel like a med day little to no breeze and no cloud cover, althought shame it only comes about one week a year here

Yes, Yes Yes, Yes, to all the questions above!!!!!

Well we can but dream, the only thing that lets it down is the weather!! But then look at the horrid weather the med has had this year!!!

Rinker232, Lovely pictures, did you pick up a buoy at Millport, or drop the hook, i was over there last week on business, and wondered if there were any visitor moorings available out there?

In those sorts of conditions you really want too play with the trim, and see how the boat reacts.
BTW, did i mention, Nice Boat!!!!? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks for the pics, and keep em coming.

Cheers

Al.

Picked up one of the visitor buoys at Millport, they are the black ones closest the pier

And next time im out I shall be using the different trim settings

Bad weather the med has had this year?? We did have a few bad storms at the beggining of the season, oh yes!!! But for the last month and a half?? Not really, Whats your weather like now, it's 38 degrees in Alcudia today.

Ok supergramps, it was raining this morning, but only briefly, and was quite refreshing.
Its now roasting hot again, and far too warm to work.
It may not be as worm as Alcouldya, but its warm enough!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Too bloody hot out here as well, even the north sea is warm, you could waterski out here, flat as a witches tit!

Witches are 'orrible flat chested, ugly women, wiv no tits, take my word for it, often called alizon! "Alizon ross, she must be the ugliest witch in the north country" Sung by "steeleye span" Maddie Prior etc.
Amazing what you learn from us old farts!!

Ah see, i have no experience with witches,, You on the other hand, obviously do!!!

Well, suppose, Begger can't be chooser!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'll tell Belinda you said that!! She's only little but red haired and firey!!!

Well you see being educated in Perthshire, where the last witch in Scotland was burned (I'm sure theres still a few around, mainly in Aberdeen) and living a long time in the Preston Lancs, area, nearby is Pendle Hill, a well known witching area!!! I have a fair knowledge of these creatures! Quite a few used to populate the pubs I went in when younger!

You tell Belinda, it was you who mentioned her name, not me! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I too use educated in Perthshire, and the only witches i knew where some of the teachers, and i can't remember staring at their tits!!! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

There weren't any women at QV school in dunblane! Well one the nurse!

There were women teachers in preston and I remember fondly staring at their tits, you must have been a slow starter!

I went too school to be educated! And there wasn't any need to stare open mouthed at any girls or female teachers, we saw everything and a lot more in the weekly sex education classes.

Ah, the QV Boys school in Dumblane, always heard that there was dodgy goings on at that school, i went too school 5miles away in Doune!
Had a great Teacher, Mrs Barrowman, I even baked her a cake once!!! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Oops, did i just say that!!! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
