Last year, one of the yachties painted a snake design onto a short piece of yellow hose pipe.
The idea was to put it on top of one of the motor boats to frighten the birds away.

When I looked, it hadn't worked but someone who will remain nameless (posts on here) said:-
"No, I think it has worked rather well - it has frightened the ?hit out of them".
