Sorry its taken a while but I'm in the IT industry !

Looks briliant Chris. I do hope you intend to give her an airing this weekend, the weather is set to be fab.

BTW - scuse my ignorance but is she a Hunton? Couldn't quite tell. Anyway, it looks like a proper powerboat - not a Gin Palace!

Uh-oh - incoming..time to take cover /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hi Dave
Thanks, I've still got some work to do on her, just having the engines serviced at the mo, and the morse controls are a bit sticky, so once thats done I will be out there.
Not a Hunton but a Sunseeker Tomahawk 37 built around 1990, spent most of its time in the med till it came back here 2 years ago and then had 2 diesels fitted so she's really immaculate inside, red is a bit faded in places on the outside, but I will give her a good polish when I have the time.
Owned her since begining of September but only been out once, that was to move her to my berth in the IOW.
Still need my instructor with me until I get a bit more confident, but hope to be out on my own later this year

Lovely! You know I was torn between Sunseeker and Hunton, but went for Hunton on length. Ho-hum. She looks briliant and will give great enjoyment. When I was in Lanzarote last year, in one of the marinas, there was a 50ft Superhawk or Thunderhawk, not sure which. But it had been left abandoned by the local authorities as it was once a rescue boat - and a bloody fast one at that! They uese RIB's these days.

Still - nice 50 footer with Arneson surface drives slowly fading in the sun for someone with the balls to buy it.

I'm glad you made that move. I find the abandonment of quality boats quite distressing.

Hi Chris

Did the same thing brought back an xps 34 from the med have gone with lpg conversion due to high cost of replacing with diesels.
Gave it a blast today, superb weather, hope you enjoy her.
