Photobucket help

I wanted to post some pics, but since I installed Photobucket on my phone, it seems that my laptop defaults to the mobile site and so attaching photos / links is difficult / impossible.

I am sure there is a workaround, but when I did my Computer Science A Level it was on a ZX81, so if anyone has any advice that would be appreciated !

Perhaps not that helpful advice, but I too used to use Photobucket then they did some upgrade which made it totally unworkable (well for me anyway!). I now use Picasa Web Album, that I understand and just seems to work....

Are you using the laptop tethered to your mobile phone (in which case PB will think it's a mobile) or using standard internet ?

If the latter then clear the cache on your browser search PB on your favourite search engine and log on like that. It could be that you bookmarked the mobile site.

Finally if you signed up using the mobile that may be the problem. Sign up again on the laptop connected normally to the internet.

Signed up originally on internet and only connect laptop to home WiFi, but then downloaded the App to my phone and uploaded a few pics from there (to avoid downloading to PC and then uploading to P.Bucket) and I think that may have confused their website somehow. I'll have another go when I get home tonight as there may be an option to upload direct from my phone...
