When is a troll not a troll?

If the OP was sincere, but the post generates the same quality of debate as a fully fledged troll... have we been trolled?

Or does the OP have to mean it?

ah, one of the foundations of English criminal law: mens rea.

There are four possibilities:

OP intends a troll, but it is taken seriously
OP intends a troll, and the bait is taken
OP does not intend a troll, but the post segues gently into trolldom
OP does not intend a troll and the post diverts through the customary fred drift of seriousness, farce, abuse and banning.

There is also the possibility of the present parallel space-time continuum having all four states occurring at the same time: this will provide physicists with enough work for the next hundred years, as currently, they can only consider quantum levels of energy at two layers.

Where was I, nurse ?

I don't know how you write a comment like that and expect to be taken seriously. Current n-brane theory clearly states the viability of up 19 universes wherein the laws of physics would dictate many quantum levels of energy. It is a well-known and documented fact that there are at least a dozen physicists working on this very thing.

Are you posting this just to get a response??

Thank you for the clarification. I was living under the mistaken belief that string theory needed a minimum of 11 dimensions to achieve the G.U.T., and that there was no limit on the number of parallel universes.
